Marriage Celebrant Fees

A truly professional celebrant is well worth the cost of your overall wedding celebration.  This is one cost where you can definitely “get what you paid for” and you want to ensure that you have a memorable and meaningful ceremony to start off your new married life.

What value do you get for your wedding celebrant fee?

These are just a few beneficial ways I can assist as your wedding celebrant:

  1. A professional presentation is not something everyone can do well and you will be able to tell from your first impressions when we meet that I enjoy delivering a quality marriage ceremony and will be able to present well to you and your guests.
  2. I arrive early at the rehearsal and ceremony, on the day of your wedding, to complete a sound check, ensure any music is ready, and to confirm that venue has everything ready for your arrival.
  3. The way your celebrant dresses is important as I don’t want to clash colours with your wedding party. We’ll have a conversation about your wedding colours and style so I can dress appropriately. If you are having a beach wedding and the groomsmen are in board shorts – I’m happy to wear a pair too.
  4. Choosing a professional registered marriage celebrant is important so when we meet I will start discussing your ceremony plans in detail with you to ensure your wedding day is special.
  5. It is part of the civil celebrant’s code of conduct to ensure the ceremony is heard by all guests so the supply of a quality PA system is a must.
  6. I write a personalised meaningful ceremony specifically for you and will provide you of some examples for inspiration so you can get involved in putting together your vows.
  7. I enjoy adding in additional components into a ceremony such as the lighting of unity candles, hand fasting or a sand ceremony. When we talk about your requirements I will share my knowledge with you on how to make your wedding ceremony a celebration you and your guests will remember for a long time.
  8. When you budget for your authorised civil celebrant expect to spend $500 or more.  The price for your personal ceremony will depend on a number of factors I will discuss with you.
  9. I make a commitment to the couples I marry that the ceremony is fully rehearsed. I will spend a lengthy time reviewing your ceremony to ensure it is perfect on the day.
  10. When you select me as your authorised civil marriage celebrant you are getting a passionate and professional person who loves helping couples create meaningful and memorable ceremonies.

I believe in complete transparency and there are no hidden fees.
